Lilac Purple Custom Wedding Garter with Personalized Initials

Today I created this gorgeous lilac purple wedding garter for my first ever Danish customer, Kelly Loos. Kelly contacted me via email about a month ago and told me that she wanted to have a custom garter made for her best friend with the hanging initials "S" and "G". Creating this garter for Kelly has been quite an adventure for me as she is the first bride that I have ever designed for that speaks English as her second language. That is, a large part of our communication was done through emailed pictures. I can now confidently say that it is not terribly hard to communicate a design, even through email, if you have a simple photo editing program. Below is the final garter that Kelly and I worked together to create for Kelly's best friend. It leaves for Denmark tomorrow!!

Purple Wedding Garters for Fall

I was reading a few bridal magazines late late last night at my local grocery store when I saw an article that did not surprise me in the least bit. That is, I came across an article in Brides Magazine that name egglplant purple as one of the most popular wedding colors of this fall season. I think it said something like: Trend Alert! Eggplant this Autumn! My question is this: how is this color trending more this season than any other fall wedding season.......ever? I don't know. I mean, I feel like that is the first color I think of when I think of autumn weddings, don't you? Eggplant purple, burnt orange, rich browns, etc. Anway, enough with my rant. Below are a few pictures of a few very pretty purple wedding garters I have designed over the past year. Purple Wedding Garter + Amethyst Love

I really love the Wedluxe Wedding Blog. I think it might very possibly be my favorite wedding blog that exists. I haven't visited it in over a month, however just now I took a few minutes to see some of the newest posts and all I can say is wow. Within just five minutes I found myself pinning, pinning, and pinning some more. There was one wedding in particular that caught my eye, as it was a perfect match for one of my custom wedding garters that I designed last month. Below is the wedding that I couldn't take my eyes off of along with the amethyst wedding garter that matches it so well. Dear Wedluxe, I don't know who's wedding this was but I have to say--big kudos to you for providing us with such spectacular wedding inspiration.

Purple Wedding Garter

Tonight's blog post is dedicated entirely to purple wedding garters. I have designed plenty of purple wedding garters, especially recently. Is purple the wedding color or 2012 or something? It must be with all of the recent requests I am getting. Deep purple, violet, royal purple, lavendar, and plum are all different types of purple that I have designed garters around.
