Wedding Garters: A One-Size Fits All Accessory?

Generally, wedding garters are labelled as a one-size-fits-all wedding accessory. However, as La Gartier grows, I am beginning to notice there is quite a need for petite and plus-size wedding garters. 

Standard wedding garters will stretch from 14 to 22 inches......which will do for a percentage of women out there but what about everyone else? Each woman is, after all, her own unique size and shape. I make my own garters to fit a 14 to 22 inch femaie leg--this means a leg 14 to 22 inches around-- however with each custom order that I do I make sure to first take measurement of the bride's leg (about three to four inches above the knee) to make sure her garter fits. No bride wants a garter that either one, feels like it is going to fall off or two, cuts off the circulation to her feet!!!  If it is an order where I am unable to meet with the bride for an in-person consultation and take measurement myself, I ask that the bride takes measurement and tells me before we begin the design process.

Point of this posting: If you are a bride to be who is struggling to find a garter that fits, contact me and will be happy to create what it is that you need. For this, I don't charge anything extra beyond my normal customization cost. It is really quite inconvenient that there aren't more garter options out there, don't you think??
