Ivory Pearl and Lace Custom Wedding Garter for La Gartier Bride Celina Crowley

Last week I had the pleasure of designing a custom wedding garter for La Gartier's first Irish bride: Celina Crowley. Celina liked the overall structure of the Black Victorian garter (shown below) but wanted a garter that was ivory with less of a gothic look and more of a romantic feel. She suggested draping pearls in some way and requested ivory lace as her trim. I set to work shopping for her materials and recommended that we use a sapphire blue rhinestone brooch as her center embellishment as she did not yet have her "something blue." Below is the final product. I had such a lovely time designing this garter. To me, it is a perfect blend of glamour and sweet romance. As far as "something blues" go, it is uprecedented.

La Gartier Bride Blair Bolton and the Joni Wedding Garter

A few months ago I had the pleasure of meeting Blair Bolton, a bride who was getting ready to order the Joni wedding garter for her wedding in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. I was delighted to create her garter, as it is one of my favorites. Well, just yesterday I was lucky enough to open up my inbox and see an email from Blair. She sent me pictures of her Joni garter from her wedding day along with a stunning photo of herself. I absolutely love it when a bride sends me pictures of her garter after her wedding day! Below is La Gartier bride Blair Bolton and two pictures of her garter right next to its pretty box. Thanks so much for sending these to me Blair!
The Joni Wedding Garter is made of an imported french floral-embroidered ribbon and ivory double-faced satin underlay. At the center is one single circular rhinestone and a sheer ivory organza bow. Simple and elegant are the two words that best describe the Joni garter.

Ivory Lace Wedding Garter for Bride Hannah Raina

This week I had the most bubbly, personality-packed bride contact me regarding her wedding garter. Her name was Hannah Raina and she needed something fast as her wedding is this upcoming Friday! She wanted something slightly vintage and something that would match her Ian Stuart wedding gown. It just so happened that I was in the studio when she called me and after discussing the details of her dress, I was able to recommend one of my ivory lace weddings garters that has a hanging locket embellishment. It is the Janice garter, a great choice for any bride who's dress incorporates ivory satin and lace. Just underneath the center bow is a precous precous silver locket that really opens for the bride to put whatever she desires on the inside. Need ideas: How about a tiny peice of paper from the first letter he ever wrote you? Or how about a tiny dried blue flower for your something blue? Perhaps a tiny photo of a loved one that you want with you on your wedding day? Whatever you choose, the Janice garter is a great and affordable ivory and lace wedding garter option!!!

Personalized Wedding Garter: Juicy Couture Wedding Garter

Ok, I will be the first to admit that as a 28-going-on-29 year old young woman, I am sometimes embarrased by my continued adolescent obsession with Juicy Couture. Aren't I supposed to grow out of it? Or atleast admire it from a distance instead of still sporting my Juicy engagement ring keychain year after year? Well, be it mature or not, I am a Juicy devotee which is why I couldn't resist custom designing a Juicy Couture inspired wedding garter. I found a heart pendant at a local jewelry store that reminded me so much of the Juicy Couture branding that started it all. I didn't even have a bride who requested this design! I simply wanted to make it. So, low and behold, below is a picture of the La Gartier Custom Juicy Couture Wedding Garter, along with some photos from the Juicy website to illuminate how well they go together. Custom Wedding Garter Spotlight: Kimberly Lastrilla's Nautical Garter

Delighted to be contacted this week by La Gartier bride Kimberly Lastrilla with photos of her nautical-inspired custom wedding garter!! Kimberly Lastrilla entered the Bow Ties and Bliss wedding garter contest a month or so ago, and ended up winning the "Kim" garter. However, in the comments section of her entry, I noticed that she had written that her wedding was to have a nautical theme. After exchanging a few emails back and forth, I decided to design a nautical-inspired wedding garter for Kim. Below is her comment that she left on the Bow Ties and Bliss website along with a few pictures of her custom wedding garter design. Thank you very much for sending these along Kimberly!! I love love love real wedding pics!!
