Sports Wedding Garters

Over the past year or so, I have designed so many sports-themed wedding garters I can barely keep track of them. I will be completely honest: I am not a huge fan of the whole college football type wedding garter, but I have gotten so many requests for them over the past few years that I finally decided this: If I am going to make a sports-themed wedding garter, I am going to make it the prettiest, most elegant wedding garter design that anybody has ever seen. Florida Gators Wedding Garter

This past week, I designed about fourteen collegiate garters for an upcoming photoshoot. One of them was my new Florida Gators Wedding Garter. I made it out of an authentic Florida Gators college ribbon and trimmed it with satin-trimmed ivory organza. In the center is an ivory double-satin bow and a hanging "F" initial charm that the bride can customize to her liking!!! Gotta love personalization, eh? With this garter, you can either leave it an "F" or change it to the first letter of your new last name, the initial of your first name, etc. If you are interested in this garter or another college team garter like it, feel free to email us at info@lagartier.com or use the contact form. Florida Gators Wedding Garter

This past week I had the pleasure of designing yet another collegiate inspired wedding garter for bride LeLe Pouncey, who's allegiances can be listed in the following order: 1. Her family. 2. Her soon-to-be-husband 3. Florida Gators Football. Lele is Passionate about the Florida Gators (yes, with a capital P), as is her husband, her entire family and the family she hasn't had yet. (I can just see it now: babies in Florida Gators booties, babies in Florida Gators hats, giant alligator stuffed animals) So when Lele contacted me about placing a custom garter order, there was no question as to what the design would be. I didn't even have to locate the ribbon myself. She over-nighted me about four yards of Florida Gators ribbon from her hometown of Ft. Lauderdale and I set to work creating the Florida Gators Inspired Wedding Garter. It was put in the mail this week and I must say it came out oh-so-lovely.
